Webkinz gardening dead zones

After having our garden since it became an option in The game, we've noticed more and more spots we can't water or weed. They aren't rotted but they don't seem to grow either.

At first just thought it was the average pain in the butt problems that gardening in webkinz have always had. However we know the 'sweet' spot for watering so when we couldn't get a 'hand' over anywhere on the square, we knew something was really wrong.

We've been calling them dead zone and I tracked - no growth, no nothing for a week here. You can't even dig it up.

There is no solution - we simply had to remove and replant.

If you've had a garden for awhile, take a sec next time you water. If you can't find a 'hand' over a square after checking it twice, remove it. It will say if you remove it, you'll go back to the beginning of the growth cycle but I bet it has been sitting in your garden for longer than one growth cycle!
