WebKinz as Baby Shower Favors

They say there aren't enough babies being born in the industrialized world. Well, we're not even halfway through the year, and yet, I've already been to too many baby showers. Go figure.
When it comes to baby shower favors, I just wish people will give away something more… useful. I've received too many white elephants and trinkets nobody has any use for really.
WebKinz pets would make excellent baby shower favors, I think. It's more than just a nice fluffy stuff toy. Because of the you also need to take care of the virtual pet, it is more engaging, and recipients are more likely to enjoy it months, or even years after the baby shower party.
Imagine that– in a few weeks you will be be busy with your baby, your friends from the baby shower party will also be in parallel, bringing up their virtual WebKinz pets. Wouldn't that be cool?
