I want to make sure all of you protect yourself online – after all, you can have lots of fun, just do it safely.

  • You don’t need to use your real name here or on any webkinz blog. Just use a nickname or your first name. We do because everything do to with Hayley goes through me.

  • Kids should only give your email to people you KNOW. If you do have permission to give it to others, never assume that it is safe to exchange personal information if you don’t know the person in REAL life and your parents know you are doing it.

  • Never post your phone number or address anywhere online.

  • Respect your parents rules for webkinz. Don’t add people unless they are ok with you adding people on your own.

  • Don’t give other people even your friends your login and password. We hear so often from people that they gave it to a friend or logged in from their house and next time they looked at webkinz, something was missing.
