In all likelihood, your kids will be too busy to be tinkering with your data files, but just to be on the safe side, make sure you have a backup of all your important files elsewhere. Worst case scenario (and this has happened to us already, although not while playing WebKinz) is that your machine crashes and refuses to reboot properly. If you have a remote access backup of your files, it would be easy to access the files in your backup from any computer with an Internet connection, and restore your entire backup to a new computer.
