Rare food?

There was a discussion about this topic and I wanted to clear it up. If a food can be made by a recipe with regular ingredients from the W shop, it isn’t rare. The only rare foods are:
- Holiday items given to members in gifts (easter eggs, birthday cake, etc)
- Holiday Recipes using items only available during those holiday times (some of the halloween recipes)
- A few retired food items (goo-goo berry)
The individual food items for each webkinz are not rare, they are really just exclusive to the animal. You can’t buy them unless you have the animal but your animals really won’t like that food anyway. You can trade with people for them if you are a foodie collector.
I wouldn’t call Cabbage rare either but for now it is in category by itself as the only item that isn’t in the W Shop but can be grown in a garden. That leads me to suspect they will have cabbage in one of the new items.
There are some unknown items for new recipes right now – once the recipes is cracked, the food item won’t be rare because the recipe will be all over the internet. We don’t even know if those recipes are really able to be made now, perhaps they aren’t even live in the system.
Hope that helps clear some things up.
