It is Cheeky Monkey Month! Or more precisely, cheeky monkeys are the webkinz pet of the month for July.

Of course means there will will be scads of newly adopted monkeys to name. If you are adding one, here are some ideas to get you thinking about what to name your newest webkinz

Binks - from George of the Jungle, Outbreak, Ace Ventura (real)

Boots - from Dora the Explorer

Guenter - from Futurama

Katie - a real monkey who played Marcel in the TV show Friends and plays the Rally Monkey, the mascot of the Los Angeles angels baseball team in clips.

Kiki - a monkey in the Sonic Adventure video game

Klaus - from old Saturday Night Live Sprockets' sketches (again ask your folks)

Mickey Dolenz, Mike Nesmith, Peter Tork and Davey Jones - the guys in a wildly popular singing group and TV show called The Monkees (again ask your folks)
