Pet of the month note
Monday, October 1, 2007Guys, we just figured out that lil’kinz frogs, bullfrogs, spotted and other frogs do not count in the Pet of the Month stuff. It must be the webkinz plain frog.
The virtual pet frogs cards you can get from a pack of trading cards DO work. We used one this morning.

Yeah, My brother Lil’inz frog is bummed but if you want to he will trade a super of your choise for one or two of those Pet of the month items, I posted on my site you see and he is really crying. (Okay maybe not be he somewhat seems not to have a smile on his face today)

aww to bad michelle i was really hoping that you would have gotten some seeds today. i haven’t bought any frogs yet. my son and i both have frogs already so we haven’t decided if we are going to get extra frogs or use our webkinz money we saved for the new pets that are out.
i just got code cards so I was spending between $6-7 each. i’m hoping to trade for the seeds still.

My daughter adopted a Lilkinz frog and didn’t get anything “special”. At that time, we did not know that the POM prizes did not apply to Lilkinz, so I sent an e-mail to Plumpy telling her what happened and asked if they could do anything. This morning, there was a letter in her room telling her that they were sorry for the error. They added, to her dock, the pond, a special food item and prize money. They also added an extra 200KinzCash. If you adopted a LilKinz frog and you send a letter, they might do the same for you. I am sure that it was not a mistake but they gave her mercy since they didn’t really tell people beforehand that this month’s POM was only fr the full sized frog.
