Our first free virtual pet from trading cards!

I pulled a free virtual pet from a deck of cards today! Hayley doesn't know yet and she is going to be way excited.

I wonder what she will name it because she already has a panda webkinz she named Jason. She was all set to name her panda Tai Shan for the panda at the D.C. Zoo but then something sad happened and she wanted to do something to honor a friend.

So she named the panda after our friend Jason Ray, who was the student who played the UNC Tar Heels Ramses mascot passed away at the NCAA regionals. Hayley knew him from being a UNC ball girl, going to basketball games and as a special surprise, he even came to her birthday party when she turned eight. When he died it was very sad but we sent his family a bunch of photos from her birthday party and other times for his remebrance service at church. We have a lot of good memories of him and are lucky to have known such a great guy.

I'm hoping this panda will be as good a pet as Jason has been!
