WebkinzNewz is reporting this insanely cute Woolly Mammoth will be released as a electronic pet:

Once relegated to extinction, now the Woolly Mammoth can become a true pet of distinction! This prehistoric pet will make a Jurassic-sized special addition to your Webkinz family! The Woolly Mammoth will be available at the Ganz eStore in the near future.

No shock it is online only - after all, cloning is an inexact science!

Hi! I love this one! I really do think people will actully buy it. I mean Ganz always wastes thier time and money making pets nobody really buys, becuase nobody wants to randomly give 12 dollars to someone they don't know so they can get a simple online code for a simple online world. But this one will really sell, I think. I LOVE the PSF & PSI. The picture is cute, and I would DIE if in winter it's fur changed to white and blue, like a rabbit's.
