Wednesday, April 30, 2008Hayley turns 10 today! We got a KinzPost from webkinz that she got a Wish Token!
Humorously, she had two pets that have birthdays the day before (webkinz anniversary) but none of her actual birthday!
This morning when Hayley came into snuggle with me before school, she was sure I was tickling her but it wasn't me – it was a Mouse! Well not a real one but a webkinz ones. Soon slithering under the covers was a Tiger Snake that looped up around her. And then Hayley didn't want to get out of bed because it was chilly then someone called clucked at her like a chicken but it wasn't me – it was a webbie Chicken.
So it was a webbie birthday morning

happy birthday hayley! we have enver talked before but your mom and i have. i would send you something but i am sure anything i have you hvae. oh and i promise i am not saying that in a mean way.
She’s going to read when she gets home. She loves mail and recipes so if you want to send something, she’s just as happy with getting some funky snack.
And I know you didn’t write it in a mean way…
On that note, if anyone wants to start the spoiled comments again – Hayley has asked her friends coming to her birthday party not to bring her gifts but to bring items for the animal shelter. The party invite isn’t online but you can see the note about gifts that we made:

i sent a little something to heh98. sorry but i am sorta on a budget. oh and if it is the commercial i think you are talking about, i know what you mean. it is so sad. my dog was on the shelter and he is a pure bred and he was going to be put down but thank goodness someone took him to a rescue where we adopted him from
could you maybe tell me her favorite food and i can see if they have it on webkinz? that would be funny. oh and hayley, even though you probably won’t read this. i am so proud of you for doing something to help animals. trust me even when i just say i am a dog lover, you have to actually see me around dogs to know what i mean. have you heard of the book “Where the Red Fern Grows”? Well if you have i always cried every time near the end when the watched the movie even though i always knew what was going to happen. i also get so emotinal when i watch shows about animals being abused or having to be put down. anyway sorry to blab on about something unimportant. happy b-day! i remember when i turned 10. it is the first 2 digit number! congrats! lol

The commercial is the one with Sarah Mclachlan singing The Arms of An Angel. It makes us cry every time we hear it.
She was just so upset about that ad and wanted to give them her allowance or do more when she heard it. So we went to their website and then the local one – and they had a list of things they needed, which made us think of her party!
Hayley had 28 kids last year and will be in the 20s this time again – we are happy for everyone to have fun and celebrate but she doesn’t need that many presents.
Rare is at 5pm – Ancient Brazier, $2,600.
Rebecca & missy – You all don’t have to get her stuff, she’ll read here too.
But you insist, food is best – in the real world, she loves root beer, ice cream, hotdogs, friends, broccoli, carrots and apples. Or something else small – a flower, soccer or basketball ball.

Rebecca – you could donate to your local shelter in honor of Hayley. Then just let her know. I just dropped off stuff today – our shelter has a thrift shop and I dropped off clothes for them
– Also I give them towels and blankets – My two cats were shelter animals and they are the best!

Man,she seems kinda like addicted to Webkinz.
I don’t know that’s just my opinion but I think it’s just kinda weird that somebody would have over 500 bucks worth of stuffed toys.

omg there is such new stuff on webkinz. ok a new POTM item this AWESOME balloon machine, a new class we get to cook pancakes! and something weird in the daily activites there is something that says time to celebrate. hum oh and potm chocolate ribbons are flying by, i got 1.
oh and also they have all the new webkinz in the webkinz pets section one of them being a lil’ kinz chicken. that is amazing how they came out with a lil’ one so fast. now if only they made little ones for a ton of all the other pets
