ncaa basketball is in full swing and as many of you know, we are ardent North Carolina fans. We have many of webkinz named after UNC players and even coaches. The Tar Heels are in the Sweet Sixteen and will play tonight to advance another step on their (hopeful) journey to a national championship.
We are all pretty excited about how things are going so far this season. Here is a photo of Hayley at the final home game of the season this year. She was just a bit excited over a Tyler Hansbrough dunk.
For good luck, we have a group of our webkinz crowded around the TV, watching the game together. They are all dressed in Carolina Blue (either the light blue shirt or the snowflake sweater), white jeans and basketball shoes.
Tonight they are getting their webkinz nachos and ordering their webkinz pizzas. The TV is ready, the blue gear is on and by 7:30 the webkinz will be cheering!

As soon as Hayley gets a chance to look at all the entries, she'll decide! We've been so swamped she hasn't had a chance to see them all. She hasn't even opened up her gift box for her Schnauzer yet!

Naki95, of course traffic has dropped off but we knew that would happen. It took time to build up the traffic on the old site too, just as it will here. Transitions take time, that is just how things work.

I still think a lot of people are disappointed from the move, I have to admit i havent been here as much as I used to but like you and Haley Im very busy. I dance 3 nights a week and im in afterschool Jazz Band. Hopefully people will pick up again, and I thought the Easter pictures people sent in were really good you guys got a lot.

I can understand that some people fear or don't like change but that is how life is. We wanted to get the change done when we did so I could get back to my real job and be ready to start developing the site more as we get closer to summer.
I"m content with how things are now. I miss some of the folks but as things get bigger and better here, I bet they'll be back and I certainly don't bear them any ill will.
Overall that was part of it too - being busy. The old site took more time for non-webkinz stuff. Hayley has 90 min soccer practices twice a week and then 1-3 games a weekend, then we are trying to get her riding set up at a new stable, not to mention her time just hanging out. I work fulltime - during this time of year, more than full time. Part of moving was so we would have less non-webkinz stuff to do.

Thank You! And you are totally right about your comments above! Alot of kids are even busy! I'v been stressing out like CRAZY lately because of all the homework and my grade has to do. I tell you, 4th grade is a HUGE step up from 3rd grade! And grown up's probebly have it even tougher! Especialy you having a site and all!
