They really didn't have lead, but the plant they came from had produced some products with lead issues from what I understand.

They just aren't producing more until the move to a newer style that will alleviate any fears - unfounded or not. The rumor is they'll be a heavy plastic when the next round comes out.

You can still buy them online and I saw some in stores not too long ago.

My son and I wish you guys luck. We were down to one and it took us months to get the wand, but we finally did. We were very religious about visiting the Charm Forest first thing in the morning, then again about 3 in the afternoon, then one more time about 9 at night. We were able to collect all the charms. We still visit every day because we either are able to get food or Kinzcash. Michelle if you don't have a list of what charms can be located in what forest, email me and I'll share it with you so you can post it here. I got it off another website, but I don't remember which one and it was a big help also.
