Alyssa Star Challenge – we found astro emblem & a shooting star!
Saturday, July 12, 2008UGH – We aren't too pleased with some things in the alyssa Star Challenge.
We found a star in the Alyssa Star Challenge game. We got Lunamite, one of the seven items on the astro emblems page. An interesting thing is that they offer you a trade for the item. They offered us a 'Pixie Puck' worth $315 to trade for it. It look us a while to decide but we decided to take the trade since we like to collect small stuff.
1. However we didn't get the item so we feel like we got cheated. According to a commenter 4u2nvme2, you don't get the item you just get money and she keeps your star. That definitely confused both of us and really makes no sense – why call it a Pixie Puck and not just cash? After reading the instructions again, it does say you can trade it for cash.
The game needs to remove the Pixie Puck thing and just say trade it for whatever amount of cash.
2. Then on one of our other accounts, we found and clicked the shooting star – no reward ever showed up for that. Were we supposed to do something else there?

You are right but it is just too confusing.
That’s good to know how the Pixie Pucks actually work. We’ve only been offered Pixie Pucks worth 50 KinzCash or less for our stars, so the trade hasn’t been too tempting. We finally had a shooting star today that Allysa said was a comet and then we got our first prize – solar pants. It’s fun to have a new game, although I was hoping for more flexibility with room sizes and placement. Maybe someday!
I clicked on a shooting star this morning and it locked the game up and I had to logout and log back in and I had a star and the solar shirt?! Its all too confusing. lol

We can’t find the new game at the Charmed Forest and it’s frustrating as all get out for us. Any tips?

just played it again and found nada. boo!
To get the game to come up clear your temp internet files and cookies. Log back in and it will be there in the charm forest. Some of the shooting starts you don’t get anything. Only the ones that state you caught a comet. I received the pants. I hope this helps.
I like the new game.. but there are still a few glitches
When i try to put my cheeky monkey box in my room it says “oops.. can not find rules for the careate gift”
what should i do?
I think I was pretty lucky with this.
My first account I got the Helmet, the second account the jacket and My third the sky cookie..
I now have 2 sky cookies,Alyssa cookie and Meteor cookie.
A lot of misses and 4 star so far…
a friend actually got the throne in a glitch..

The differance between a comet and Shooting star is:
Comets are bigger, and they give you stuff when you catch them!
Shoothing stars are smaller, and wiz right though your net! They make you lose a chanse at finding a star!

sometimes u get stuff when u click on the shooting stars and other times u don’t. but you’re right it is confusing

I’m really glad you guys are addressing this issue. The same thing just happened to me! I found a shooting star, clicked on it, the constellation that spelled “Shooting Star” came up and then nothing happened It even wasted one of my 3 tries!! Needless to say, Webkinz REALLY needs to fix this problem and many others.
