Thursday, March 6, 2008Once Webkinz comes back up, there will be a bunch of updates!
-In honor of the new Wacky Zingoz plush toy and game that accompanies adoption of the pet, there are Flying Wackys floating around the game. If you click it, you get a Candy Bat , seasonal bat candy from the W Shop during Halloween, Update – Malaika corrected us, the item you get when you click on the Flying Wacky is a different. It can be one of several versions of the bat used in the Wacky Zingoz game! The Wackys will be floating like Go Go Berries, POTM Ribbons or Winter Festival items and in the same places – which means almost everywhere except arcade games. I've posted a photo of one floating by and the bat we won below:
-We finally have more information on the Wish Tokens and their use!
The purpose of those Wish Tokens is the Wish Factory, a new selection on the Shopping part of the Thing to Do menu. The basic concept is you can trade tokens to select exclusive items that you want.
- It takes 10 tokens to get the Factory to open and then you get to select the exclusive you want. You can't open it before you've added those 10.
- You can get/earn tokens through adopting the POTM, visiting on your birthday and webkinz day – but also through special Wheel events.
- The factory main screen is like a bank in that you can deposit your tokens as you get them as opposed to keeping them in your dock. However, I tried now with no luck.
- No mailing the tokens to others
- There are super tokens that exist but they will look the same as other tokens in your dock. The factory will tell you if they are super only after you deposit them and you'll get a bonus.
- The Wheel of Wishes appears to have Tokens as an option to win. On that note, the Wheel of Wishes has been backed up until Saturday – not a bad idea after the wheel problems in the past. But they have more info post on it.
-New theme has been released called Pretty in Pink (PiP). It isn't all released now but it looks like a pink version of some other theme's items to me, for example the PiP coffee table, stove, lamp and floor look like pink versions of the Candy Theme and the TV looks like a pink version of the Sky-Vision TV from the Blue Skies Theme. We'll still get it but it doesn't strike me as a big release like the Upscale condo did. Maybe the additional pieces coming will be cooler.

hallaway, I agree. I don’t like it either. Like bingo, we pretty much ignore them. Sometimes I wonder if it is to have things that while it is hard to win, it is very easy to play for small kids.

I don’t know it’s just that I am SOOOO stressed out. I am homeschooled and tomorrow is when we do all our tests and I am in the 7th grade so I have to do all this hard stuff. sorry lizzie but I don’t want any of that stuff. Oh I am SO mad, my brother is doing do well in gem hunt and I stink at it I got my account on december 17, 2007 and have 7 gems left to find(I have only ONE top level gem) My brother made his account on januray 19, 2008 and has only 4 gems left to find(and has 4 top level gems) He gets a new gem like almost every single day and I get a new gem like once a week. I have been coming to this site for around 6 months now and have always come here for the most recent news about webkinz world. i have been in Colorado for a week with no time to go on webkinz nor check here. so when a close friend emailed me that kinzblog had completely redesined their blog i was shocked. Of course when i got home i had to look for myself. This site is so much harder to navagate and read.
